foolin’ around
It’s almost April Fool’s Day. Why not have a little fun with your kids? The possibilities are pretty broad for what you can do. You can read about the top 100 hoaxes of all time (among other foolishly fun things.) When it comes to practical ideas though, Family Fun has definitely got it covered. I thought the dinner switch idea was really cute. I think it would be even funnier, to just make one thing sweet. (Maybe just get the peas and carrots.) Then it would be a weird spectrum of tastes. Once, my Mom did a crazy spaghetti dinner for my sister whose birthday is at the first part of the month. (Pamela, maybe you can clarify the details.) Where we had to use all sorts of crazy utensils (potato masher, spaghetti strainer) instead of the traditional fork and spoon. Think serving in tupperware or on platters instead of plates, etc. It was very fun! I think I will do this for my family on Tuesday. ;-D
As for great pranks, I am not sure if I will be doing anything spectacular. I remember my cousins sewing the legs of my Great Grandma’s nylons closed. (She was the kind of lady who loved a good prank.) Anyone else have a great idea?
**Just had to add: I stumbled onto this site and it has a ton of cute food ideas!

I love that picture, very cute. So I just realized that when you stopped by I had like 5 bobby pins in my hair. Remember how I said I had been cleaning? Well when I would find one I would put it in my hair so I would remember to put them in the bathroom. Whoops, I hope you can still be my friend even though I was so gross!

Becky, you are so funny! For those who don’t know Becky, she is the “all-American perfect type.” Yeah, I don’t think she has ever looked bad. (Luckily she is also has a super-cute personality and 2 way cute kids.)
Kanien, I got some of these at CK Cummings, the lady at the store said that they are a “Classic” so, any chocolate/candy store should have them. Good luck and good foolin!

I love the basket idea! Your girls are getting so big! Fun to read your updates. I should’t ask you this on a comment, but I was wondering if you were still game for making those little daily activity cards. I am totally serious about paying you for them and already know several mom’s who will do the same, In fact, I told several moms that maybe they would be done in time for summer (when school is out)? I probably should’t have said that without talking to you. It’s no big deal, I just wondered if you were still thinking you had time…? You are awesome and the kids love seeing pictures of their little cousins - hopefully they can see them soon!
