I have been working on some mask prototypes for summer camp I am helping with and the girls just had to join in the fun. I noticed them hard at work at the kitchen table this morning and Megan was quick to inform me that they are making masks too. After a teeny bit of help, she finished this very creative number.
Emily preferred to dictate while I cut. She mournfully told me that if I don’t do it; it will “look ug-a-wee.” It took me a while to figure out what she wanted when she ordered a “Barbie curly thing on the side.” Turns out, she was looking for Barbie’s trademark ponytail. That kid!
Haha, your girls are hilarious. Love the Phantom mask.
Sign us up for that summer camp!
Oh my goodness, I just love Emily’s curls.
I like the “Barbie curly thing”
Need info on summer camp! Our art teacher moves to Vegas next week. We’re all devastated. She dropped off the girls’ supplies – paint, canvas, etc. etc. – with their half finished projects – and I look at the box and wonder:
1. What the heck do I do with all this stuff
2. Who the heck is going to help them finish it…uh…my art skills are…LIMITED
3. What the heck are we going to do every Thursday from 5-630 since the art teacher won’t be coming anymore.
waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!
Your girls are too cute. Of course Emily wanted a pink Barbie ponytail. She’s all girl!
This is so fun. Asher and Abbie are going to paint tonight, and I told Asher he could use the baby scissors if he is good. Maybe I need to just cut them into masks afterward. Thanks
