Starting to feel the holiday panic? If you are like me, the gifts have been bought, but have yet to be wrapped. Obviously you can’t make the kids wrap their own presents; but they can wrap everyone else’s. As long as they are wrapping gifts up, why not let them personalize them too by drawing or painting on the paper. You can buy butcher paper for around 15 cents per foot at the craft store. You can decorate the paper then wrap your gifts (roll out a long strip and let them go nuts), or you can wrap the package up then setting your little elf to work on it. Imagine how much grandma and grandpa will love a package decorated by their favorite artist. (And it will eat up a little of that hyper-Christmas-awaiting-school-free time on your kid’s hands!)

Great Idea!! Unfortunately, our crayons are on vacation after Eliza started to autograph our Christmas children’s books. She outwits me every time. I know, “craft time” should be supervised, but I have so much chocolate in my house at the moment that I can’t avoid distractions.
This is so cute. AND Nathan will love it. Man you are so amazing! I am not sure where you keep coming up with all these ideas but it is really impressive….keep your sight on the book I think it will rock. Now I must go wrap all my gifts and there won’t be any great art work on any of them…I will do good to just get it all done…I am just not feeling like doing it…sigh! I am looking forward to see you all real soon. Love you
