Today’s Mama is up to their usual impressive giveaway. More gaming stuff than I really know what is for. What I do know? I would love a Kinect and this is likely the only way one is going to make it under my tree. I think Megan would be in heaven with that DS so I figure I’d better enter. They even made it fun by making a questionnaire part of the entry. Here’s mine:

1. What is your holiday wish for your family?
Really, I would have to say the perfect job for Michael. (Even though I know that isn’t too exciting sounding…just to me…and him.)
2. What is your Christmas morning tradition?
Once everyone is up, we let the girls go into the livingroom, where Santa has left there stash. Michael videos as they discover and open presents. Then we have some breakfast. So far I have tried new recipes for that each year. I want to settle on a tradition, but haven’t found it yet.
3. If you could ask Santa for one, completely decadent wish for yourself, what would it be?
Dream house. No question.
4. How do you make the holidays special without spending any money?
We do a lot of creating together and a lot of story telling. So far we have been lucky that they girls don’t get to worked up about the commercial side. As long as there are some presents they are totally thrilled. It doesn’t have to be huge.
5. What games did you play with your family growing up?
My little sis and I have always loved to color and play with dolls. We also loved this funny game called pass the pig and well as dominoes, and trivial pursuit. My sister (ever the entrepreneur) saved up and bought a Nintendo. We loved playing Mario Bros., Tetrus, and Dr. Mario.
6. What holiday tradition have you carried on from your own childhood?
We always have an orange in the toe and a banana in the top of our stockings and there are a few unwrapped gifts laid out. We decorate the tree together while listening to Christmas music and we read the story of Jesus’ birth on Christmas eve.
7. Where would you go for a Christmas-away-from-home trip?
I think Germany would be an amazing place to see at Christmas time.
8. Check out GameStop (link to: and tell us, what are the three top items on your GameStop Wish List this year?
Call of Duty: Black Ops (for Michael), any of the Kinect games-definitely the personal trainer one for me and Kinectamals for the girls, Meg is interested in Mario Bros. (that makes me smile.)

Now it is your turn to go and enter. Take a look at the prize list, it is certainly worth it!
